PARISH PRIEST SPEAKS

Fr Jayaprakash D'Souza
Ad Mundum

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”(Lamentations 3:22-23)
God, our Father has bathed us in the abundance of love. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has shown to the world the depth and the richness of God’s love by emptying himself on the Cross after a painful suffering. By his abiding presence in us, the Spirit of God enables us, by pouring upon us the gift of faith, to recognize the love of God revealed through His Son. The people of God, living in a parish unit as a community, are called upon to recognize this great mystery and bear witness to this faith.
Mary, Queen of the Universe Church, Ranipura, established in 1956 in the Diocese of Mangalore, is on the outskirts of the city of Mangalore. Located in a picturesque land by the bank of river Nethravati, the people of Ranipura parish have kept its faith alive and vibrant. With Mary, Queen of the Universe as patron, the people of Ranipura joyfully bear witness to the mighty power of God in the world.
This website is an interface between the people of Ranipura church and the world where anyone can see how our people endeavour to keep aloft their faith amid their day-to-day struggles.
