As a part of the celebration of the Nativity of the BVM, the Christian Life Community of Ranipura (CLC) conducted a sports event on the school ground on Sunday, September 3, 2023.
The parishioners gathered in the school ground after the mass in the morning. They partook in the breakfast provided by the CLC. The sports events began with an inaugural programme. Fr Rudolph Pinto of Rishivana, and Mr Liston DSouza, the President of the CLC, Mangalore Diocese were present for the inaugural programme. The CLC Conducted various sports and games events along with a lot of fun games throughout the day to the parishioners in different categories. They included events like bombing the city, lucky chocolate, picking the balloon, lucky number, blasting the balloon, lucky ludo, walking with ball in the plate, filling bottle with water, bangling the stick, wicket shooting, football, basketball, throwing ring on the wicket, biscuit game, musical chair, breaking the pot, memory game, lagori, housie housie. The CLC had also arranged midday meals for the participants and the people gathered.
The curtains were drawn to the fun filled activities of the day in the evening at around 5.30 pm.
