Dr Vinitha D’Souza Earns PhD in Toxicology and Nutrition

Mangaluru, Feb. 1: Dr. Vinitha D’Souza has successfully defended her PhD viva voce on January 31, 2026, at Nitte (Deemed to be University), Faculty of Biological Sciences. Her doctoral research, guided by Dr. Murali Badanthadka, was in the subject of Toxicology and Nutrition and titled “Effect of Malnutrition on Chemical-Induced Hepatotoxicity in Female Balb/C Mice.”

Dr. D’Souza hails from Ranipura Church, Vishwarani Ward. She is married to Robin Movin Rebello and is the mother of Kianza Nora Rebello. She is the daughter of Vincent and Saritha D’Souza, and daughter-in-law of Dominic and Elcy Miranda.
