Pilgrimage and Outing for Catechism Children of Mary, Queen of the Universe Church, Ranipura- 17 October 2024

On Thursday, October 17, 2024, Mary, Queen of the Universe Church in Ranipura organized a full-day pilgrimage and outing for catechism students from 4th to 10th standards. The outing, led by Parish Priest Rev. Fr Jayprakash D’Souza, brought together around 90 enthusiastic students. Fr Jayprakash, along with dedicated catechism teachers, ensured a smooth and enriching experience for all the children.

The journey took students to several significant religious sites: Monte Mariano Monastery in Farangipet, St Sebastian Church in Bendur, the tomb and residence of Rev. Monsignor Raymond Mascarenhas, the founder of the Bethany Congregation, St John Paul II Shrine in Bajpe, St Anthony’s Ashram in Jeppu, St Joseph’s Inter-Diocesan Seminary in Jeppu, and Rosario Cathedral. The day concluded with a refreshing visit to Tannirubavi Beach, adding a moment of relaxation and fun.

The pilgrimage offered students an opportunity to deepen their faith, learn about the rich Catholic heritage, and build fellowship with peers, making it a spiritually fulfilling and memorable outing.
